Abstract

Big Data is a concept frequently talked about, but often misunderstood. This session aims to peel back the covers on “Big Data” by talking about industry trends and focusing on the capabilities of Microsoft’s Analytic Platform System’s Parallel Data Warehouse workload.

Bio

Anthony Mattas is a Pre-sales architect with Microsoft. He has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Theory and Analysis from Western Michigan University. Prior to joining Microsoft Anthony worked as a Business Intelligence consultant for a Microsoft Partner, and before that as the Technical Lead for a Fortune 500’s the Microsoft Business Intelligence platform.
