Join us Thursday, Nov 12th, as Rob Demotsis and Dan Evans go lessons learned during a licensing and consolidation project here in Memphis.

As usual, pizza will be served around 5:30 PM and the meeting will start at 6 PM. If you plan to attend, please RSVP so we know how much pizza to get, and so that we know who to contact if there are any changes that need to be communicated.

For those that might be arriving after 5:30, the door and elevator code will be 2111#.

Summary:

This is a follow-up to the presentation given on July 10/2014 on licensing and consolidation of servers at Baptist Memorial Hospital here in Memphis. Rob, with some assistance from Dan, will attempt to go over the process and the challenges that were encountered during the consolidation and virtualization project.

Rob will also go over how this aligns with moving to cloud.

Afterwards, we’ll go over what I hope you will consider to be exciting good news for the Memphis PASS Chapter. (Sorry Paul, it’s not about getting a new joke book.)
